Touch-up mortar

Use

Silex touch-up mortar can be used to touch up imperfections caused by cutting panels.

Composition

Silex mortar is a pre-mixed and pre-colored powder.

Technical specifications

The mortar mix ratio is 3.5 parts powder to 1 part clear water. Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes before use. The mixture should be smooth, but stick to the trowel. Keep the same ratio for all mixtures. To fill joints, apply painter's tape to the edges of the panels to protect them from overflow. Moisten the joint spaces with a wrung-out sponge so that the mortar adheres better. Apply the mortar in the joints with the plaster knife. Pass a damp sponge to remove the excess and standardize. Rinse and wring out the sponge with each pass. Remove painter's tape while mortar is wet. The mortar dries in 15 min.
